Morning practice

continues with Marella at 6.30 am every week day . This is a led practice not taught if you would like to come along it is better if you have attended some of Marella's classes during the year . Marella's morning practise is  not suitable for the raw beginner . Let Marella know if you will be joining her on the mat.


Absolute basics for absolute beginners, suitable for those who have never done yoga or those who have taken one or two classes, focus is on learning about yoga from the start .This will be a six week class and afterwards people will be able to joing YogaBegin classes. Suitable for those who have not taken any exercise for a while, for those who feel they may be overweight and would not be able to keep up . For those recovering from injury or illness. Very slow moving gentle  class. This class will be available in 6 week blocks over the year. Suitable for the raw beginner. Suitable for those who have a number of years clocked up and do not want a fast moving strong practise.     


For those who have the basics of yoga and  are now wishing to develop a practise .  For those who may be quiet fit in other disciplines and would like to try yoga. Suitable for the raw beginner who likes to be challenged a little . For anyone who wishes to improve their flexibiltiy and strength.  



An accessible, affordable, expertly-taught flow yoga class that offers clear and specific alignment instructions for each pose in order to promote safety. Yogahour classes help students become as strong as they are flexible and as flexible as they are strong. Yogahour is an ideal class for anyone who seeks to get fit and flexible in the context of fun. Yin Yoga 

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses,  that are held for longer periods of time, five minutes or more per pose is typical.Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasise internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.Yin yoga is suitable for everyone, building strength and stability in the joints. Check the schedule for Yin Yoga classes

Yin yoga  works at a very deep level on the emotional body enabling stress and or emotional release as toxins stored in the large joints such as hips and shoulders begin to be flushed from these areas as the fascia is manipulated. Yoga especially suitable for anyone over the age of 50 and those with stress related issues.

All classes drop in rate £10.00


But I am very happy to receive between £5.00 and £10.00 from anyone whose financial circumstances are more difficult. I believe that everyone should have access to my classes and scarcity  should not be a reason for missing yoga. If you are unable to pay at all please talk to me and we will find a path.

Last year we had a brilliant offer of as much yoga as you could do for £30.00 per month . I would really like to stick to this price but spiralling costs everywhere indicate that if I wish to be here next year I must increase my prices.

 So Autumn 2017 Same deal as last year  for £40.00/month, you may attend as many of my  classes as you would like to take in the month . This would be direct debit set up in advance . This is still  fantastic value and compares very favourably to other offers as I am sure you will agree, paying in advance by standing order  and  enables you  the student to expand and deepen their practice considerably. The knowledge that you have paid in advance combined with easy access to lots of classes just makes a big difference and provides that much needed push to get off the couch and onto the mat. If you have not tried it I strongly reccommend that you do
